During Geography, Mrs. Lew was really upset and disappointed with us. More than half the class had failed the Geography test. Although I failed as well, I'm quite happy that for the first question, I actually got 5 marks! Haha... I've not gotten so much in a Geography question before...

For P.E., we did something weird. Meditation. Because it was raining and the grounds were wet, Mr. Chee took us to the hall after our running and we did some meditation there. We were all lying on the floor, closing our eyes, and all relaxed... until the lesson ended... how strange... that's something different for P.E. Are we the only class to do this thing?

I don't really like my Physics teacher... he's kinda scary sometimes... I prefer my former Physics teacher. Don't really like my English teacher as well. I like my tuition English teacher more.

Assembly was quite alright. We saw lots of photos of China and Perth and Thailand that many students went in the holidays last year. They all looked fun and interesting, and some are funny.

My Social Studies teacher is pretty dramatic and hilarious. Today it's really funny, about the "Michelle" thing... haha! Was laughing so hard... Say Hwee likes her... hehe. But she's pretty likeable.

Chinese was... typical... ordinary... just like a Chinese lesson.

Done... realize my computer cannot access Dawn's blog because of the virus-music website again. When I go there, the window immediately closed itself, then there's an error. Gosh. I don't like iwebmusic or iwebtunes.

Books to Read!

I've got lots of books to read these few days. Oh yeah, I'm pretty much obsessed with detective and murder stories, especially Agatha Christie's works now. It just seems so exciting and interesting.

I think I'm going to abandon my blog somehow. There is just not much time to go online. Plus, I'm not supposed to go online unless during weekends. And there's nothing to write about. My life is humdrum.

New teachers. Most are pretty okay, but I don't like the P.E. teacher. I'll be running soooooo slow tomorrow, and then I'll be adding a burden to my group, and yeah... I hate P.E. Should start practising from now on. If not, how can I pass NAPFA?

The other teachers are not as bad as I thought.

Borrowed some books from the library. Now there're lots of books to read. Comics too. Yay... so many stuff to read!

Oh yeah, 2 more guys joined Choir. One of them was a boy who sings really well... Let's hope he can help the Choir become better! Both boys are Soprano 1s! Wow... And there's a new song we're going to learn for Choir. I like the tune a lot. It sounds like those church tunes... and it's about Christ and Virgin Mary. Cool. I hope it'll turn out nice.

Tomorrow is a bad day. Because of the first two periods. I wish I can not go tomorrow. Let's hope something happens. Nah. Like anything will happen. See ya. I'm going to change this blogskin someday... someday when I'm really free and has really nothing else to do... because changing blogskins are troublesome. Sigh.

Slowing...

Haven't been here for a long while. I'm not allowed on the internet nowadays, and also the internet speed is really slow, and I have to wait a while for it to load to the blogger website for me to blog... and it takes longer to view my friends' blogs, so I sometimes just become too impatient and annoyed and decided not to read the blogs.

Christmas is over... a disappointing Christmas, because there were no presents on my table like last year, and thus no excitement in opening those presents, mainly because there was no party.

Nevertheless, I still got some presents from my parents, which I was quite happy about. Haha...

So, a belated Merry Christmas to everyone I know!!!

I've bought my friends' presents... but still haven't wrapped them... haha... Genting actually won. I was hoping that Kerzner would win, because I rather liked their design, and the architect is the renowned Frank Gehry, which gave it a touch of originality and creativity. If Kerzner had not won, I would have expected Eighth Wonder to win, because of the appealing attractions, like there's no entry fee, and visitors only have to pay for some rides, while the rest are free. And Eighth Wonder will also build another bridge to prevent traffic jam. There're even well-known names like Vera Wang and Pele.

But why Genting? It was the least expected result. And with the newspapers continuously talking about Eighth Wonder I really thought it'd win. I hadn't even seen Genting's design before. Had not heard of what it's going to have as well. Is it because Genting is closer to Singapore or something? I don't know much about it yet... There was no newspaper at my doorstep today...

Oh well, it's the government's choice, I suppose. Although I really still support Kerzner... and even Eighth Wonder now. Sigh.

Happy, happy, happy.

Haven't been blogging for a long time. Haven't been online for a long time either. I wonder how many miss me? ....just kidding! >< Okay... I'm writing nonsense here.

Well, a lot of things had happened, but I'll just write about some recent stuff that happened recently. Today I'm in a very high mood. I had a really weird dream today. It consisted of a lot of people. A LOT. From the 2/9 people to 3/5... there's a lot. The ones that came on a lot are Tan Min and Dionne... and their blogs. In the dream they somehow know of my Primary school friend because they've met before. I dunno why, but I totally believed what they said in the dream. Then once I woke up, I thought about it, and it's too absurd to be true, no matter how I think of it. Sigh. Seem to be in a trance in my dream.

I found someone today. Really happy now. Had been finding that person for a long time, and today I finally found it. Haha. What a success. Am relieved now.

Okay. The end. See you next time.

P.S. I don't understand it... why do guys all like Squall? Some like impersonating him, while others like to use his name on msn or whatever... I don't get it. Well, I know Squall is a cool character, but why not Zidane... or Tidus... or Cloud, or whatever? Why Squall? Don't get it. Sigh. Today I saw another "Squall".

Argh.

Argh, I don't feel like blogging. So tired.

How did that lonely day turn to become?

Well, now Friday has passed. So I shall write about whether Friday really has become a lonely day.

So after I blogged, I went out of the house and went to choir. I went there early and up to the staff room to get the Physics notes. Unfortunately, it wasn't there. Then I saw Ee Peng and we talked and then after that, Say Hwee came and gave me a magazine to look at. It was about the Korean drama "Princess Hours" that she's been obsessed with, and of course, "her prince" is in there. So are the rest of the characters and some facts about them. I'm not too interested, but I read it anyway.

After that I went up to choir, arriving almost late up there because I had to guard Say Hwee's bag while she went to Eco Garden to fish some algae. Weird. In choir, Ms. Yin hired a new pianist. It was a young boy around... 19 or 20? I heard that he can play out the whole piece just by looking at it the first time. Wow. So anyways, choir was alright. But the altos were kind of pathetic because our power-source Melina and Cheryl were both gone for remedials. Then Ms. Yin actually made all the third-row people (mainly the Sec 3s) stand at the first row. It's kind of frightening, because Ms. Yin would be able to hear us all very clearly. But after a while, it's alright. "Gao Shan Qing" turned out to be a nice song to sing.

We're performing on next Tuesday, by the way.

After choir's done, I walked with Dawn M. to Clementi Central, talking about stuff about choir and about DeathNote on the way. Now more people I know are starting to know about DeathNote because of the movie! Yay! After that I went to Orchard (again) with my mum to eat lunch. We ate Pastamania, something new that I've never tried before. And I tried the baked rice there (luckily it did not taste like Chicken Porridge like the one in Swensons (sp)) and the Ham and Mushroom pizza. It turned out to be very delicious, both the pizza and the baked rice. Loved the cheese. The pizza was very crunchy and tasty. Will go and eat again.

Then my mum and walked to the place where I bought my DeathNote wallet. The shop didn't change, yay! But the guy at the shop changed. He's wearing the same costume, (Bleach captain of the 8th division) but he's shorter and fatter than the previous guy (whose appearance I can only remember from memory).

Went to Kinokuniya after that, and I wanted to find the Arsene Lupin books, but they didn't have it there. Now I find Kinokuniya REALLY small and annoying, because they NEVER ever have the books I want. (Unless it's manga) Last time I wanted to buy Gail Carson Levine's books, but they didn't even have her works. Gosh. So, frustrated, I went to Borders to find my books, which was a long road away. But Borders was EVEN smaller. They had practically nothing there. So, extremely irritated, I went back to Kinokuniya with my mum, and wanted to buy some manga. (And of course, I've already bought all the new ones) I looked for Hana Yori Dango, which was $7+, and my mum did not want to buy it for me. So after that, I bought a English book about $23. Sigh. Such disappointment.

Tuition later. Saw Canaan, Qiqi, Bryan, Wylie... same old people. Valerie still did not appear. Probably busy or something. Tuition was a comprehension about Italy. Italy's really beautiful! It's so cool! Tuition was quite okay. So after that I went home.

The end. So it wasn't that bad after all.

I realized something about the Science tuition teacher. He loves calling people "stupid". Haha. He just points at people and say "You are stupid." (of course, I'm not an exception. Haha.)

Lonely day

Today's going to be a very lonely day for me. Firstly, I have choir in school, while everyone else can stay at home and do whatever they want. Secondly, Say Hwee and all the choir people in her class (including Melina, who sings extremely loud and well) are not going for choir because of their stupid math remedial. So there'll be no one to keep me company during choir. Thirdly, choir ends at 12pm, and then I'm going to Kinokuniya with my mum, who has taken half a day off (unless she's too busy) to find that Arsene Lupin book whichi I'm suddenly obsessed with after seeing it in the Detective Conan manga. (Which means I'll have to not go with Tan Min and Jun Hui and dunno who else to watch Material Girl. There's still Xiao Xing to watch with, but not sure what time she wants to watch it. Argh. This is confusing.) Fourthly, there's tuition after that, which means I can't really enjoy the whole day, and that's the reason I woke up moody today, because I realized I haven't finished my homework... and my Saturday tuition homework as well. Argh. Fifthly, I'm very moody and gloomy to begin with, so I wrote this whole thing in one big paragraph. I don't think anyone bothered to read it anyway.

Argh. I hate Fridays and Saturdays. Argh. There's still choir on next Monday and Tuesday. This is what you call intense practice.

Choir

Today there's choir. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to Say Hwee's house because she has tuition. Aww. I'll go next time.

So anyways, Say Hwee and I went up to the choir room talking about our favorite dramas, and then after that we did some warm-ups. Ms. Yin then came, and we sang, sang, sang. Now I'm starting to like choir again. Haha. Ms. Yin is quite a nice instructor, and she doesn't scold us much as well. I even like to sing the Chinese songs too. Haha.

We're going to have a public performance next Tuesday. Woah. So fast. And we have to wear our gowns. In public. I'm getting nervous already.

It turns out this Chinese song "Ling Lan" is in the Cultural Potpourri... I don't want it to be in there... the song is extremely weird and I don't like to sing it. And then I think that "ding ding dang dang" will drive people to sleep. Don't like that song.

Maybe singing the Joshua song in Cultural Potpourri as well. That's a bible song, I think. I like that song a lot. It has a nice tune. But the last part is very hard to sing. Hehe.

So, there's Choir tomorrow, next Monday, and Tuesday. Woah. Intense practice for performance. Say Hwee won't join me tomorrow because she has some stupid math remedial. I wanna persuade her to come choir because compared to it, math is not important now. Haha.

Movies to watch

Right now, there're a lot of movies I wanna watch. Haha... I've already thought of 3.

Qi Hui's moving so we've decided to watch a movie. But I'm not sure what to watch with her yet as there're not many interesting movies out now. I'm not sure what kind of movies she likes too.

Movies I can watch:

Material Girl. Hilary Duff inside. Not sure what it's about.

Museum at Night (or whatever the name is). I saw the trailer. Very interesting-looking. I thought I've seen it somewhere before long ago, but maybe I was wrong. A bit of deja-vu feeling. Haha. Maybe might watch this with Tan Min.

DeathNote. Only comes out at December 28, I think... so late. Maybe watching it with my mum and Tan Min. Surprised to hear that Tan Min watches it too! Hooray! Haha. Everyone's looking forward to watching it.

Later I have to leave for Physics remedial. I don't feel like going. Wanna stay home and do my own stuff. Sigh. No choice. If not, I can't catch up. I have to go to school almost everyday. So sad. There's choir tomorrow.

Maybe going to Say Hwee's house tomorrow... hehe.

Internet failure

I've been offline for so long... and the one reason why is this:

I've got no internet.

Or rather, my internet connection failed and I couldn't connect.

So now... it's temporarily fixed... and I shall use it for a while.

Lately, lots of things happened...

including the freaky Chinese 'O' level exam... the numerous remedials... the various CCA practices and performances... the scary tuitions... and the holidays are here.

Hai... It's English and Chinese paper 1. So sad. Horrible. Terrible. Petrifying.

For English, I didn't even know what to write. The discussion, argumentative and descriptive essay is definitely out, so it's left the expository and the narrative (which is definitely easier to write). The expository essay is "Change", and the narrative is about a good deed that caused disastrous effects. When I saw the topics, I went so blank.

Gosh, and I thought about what to write for about 5 minutes. I was there, trying to think, while all the people beside me had already started. Then I decided to write "Change", and so I began. Then after a few lines, I went blank again. Not enough planning. Sigh. So I changed to the narrative. Only started like, 15 minutes after the exam started.

It was so hard to write. There was this Nobuta wo Produce scene (Kyou-kun knows) that I wanted to write on. Something about stopping a fight. But then I remembered violence is not encouraged, so I decided not to write it, even if it's just a bit of violence.

I wrote something about lying and being found out, and then got hated by everyone, and blah. Very idiotic. I think I went sort of off-topic. Dots.

Chinese paper 1 was worse. The formal letter was soooooo... pathetic. I think that's my shortest letter ever. I didn't know what to say at all!

The narrative was the only one I could write because I didn't know how to write the other two, even if I had read the 5th question scene on the newspaper. The narrative was something about a "Choice". It was extremely hard. And then I didn't even know whether that word was a noun or a verb. I think I wrote wrongly, and off-topic again.

So overall, there are 4 Chinese words to describe today's papers:

Yi (2) Ta (4) Hu (2) Tu (2)

Sigh.

At least, English tuition is nice. But it'll be the last time I see Ms. Puah/Phua, and it's sad because she's such a nice teacher, and we always joke around with her. Canaan is always so funny talking to her. And I kept on laughing. Haha.

I don't want Social Studies remedial tomorrow. I'd have to change the Science tuition, and I don't want to call the teacher!!!! I don't like to call anyone on the telephone at all!!! Uneasy...

Oral. And he made us all have oral in the same room as the ones that're waiting for their turn. So everyone can actually hear the person getting tested. Some of it.

What's good is that I'm the timekeeper, as well as the last person getting tested, so no one has to hear my voice, to my relief. (I don't really mind getting off late, plus the backgate was opened.)

So well, being the timekeeper is a first and fresh experience. Oh well. It's all over, so I shall not dwell much on it.

What's worse than this oral exam is the Bio. Spa that's counted in the 'O' LEVEL marks. Haha... oh well. I just don't really know what to say. Oh well.

I'm changing my blogskin soon. Kinda sick of this skin already. It doesn't look all that nice, anyways.

Oh yeah, I'm quitting Math tuition, to Dawn's envy. Haha. My mum thinks that I don't need one, and now Math tuition is becoming more and more boring, so boring I could even fall half-asleep there. And then I wouldn't know what the teacher is talking about. So boring...

I'm having a new Chemistry tuition now. It's on Saturday morning, which means spoiling my Friday night (just after English tuition is over). Well, this tuition is quite okay. There're lots of people from good schools there, like Nanyang, Chinese High, St. Nicholas, Cedar Girls, etc. The teacher is quite... hmm... how do I put this... strange, I suppose. He's not very ordinary. *nods*

Well, take for example, today, he spent 1 hour today talking about his marathon, his chalet that he hopes we all can attend, his table soccer competition, and some other stuff and then we started going through the homework, and then, halfway through the questions, we stopped at this human reaction time question, and he started testing out a boy's reaction time. Then he talked about some people who had slow reaction times, and so they tend to fall head-first when they fell down a building. And then he goes on talking about some cases about people falling down buildings and falling off the MRT platform while reading a book. And so, basically, we delayed our dismissal time to half an hour because he was short of time to go through the worksheet.

But overall, he's a funny teacher. Fun person too.

I'm not sure whether I'll be able to like the tuition (because no one really talks) a lot, but it's not hateful either.

So there, I updated. See ya next time.

Birthday!

It's my birthday today... haiz. Okay, shall talk about what happened today.

There were all boring subjects at school today. I almost fell asleep during Chemistry and Biology. Oh well. What a boring day.

Many people wished me Happy Birthday. I'm happy. ^_^ Yay!

Received many presents today. All are so nice stuff! Thanks both of you! ^_^

I had to go for that stupid Bukit Timah Hill hike. It was really dangerous, and I couldn't pair up with Say Hwee. And then the P.E. teacher said that just one trip can make you fall down that cliff and... splat.

Paired up with William. Talked to him. He's a nice person to talk to.

Uphill was horrible. Was so sweaty and tired and dizzy. Downhill was alright. Continued talking to William.

Sat Say Hwee's car and well, had to squeeze in such a crowded MRT. Hoping the presents will not get crushed.

Came home and was allowed to go online. Yippeee!!!

Watched Kurosagi. So intelligent. Hehe.

My parents bought a cake! Wee! Haha... Lots of stuff to eat.

End of birthday... Happy birthday to me. I shall finally blog now. Hehe.

There're common tests for this and last week. It's really stressful and irritating. Argh. I hate it. Gosh. Anyways, I shall talk about how difficult they are.

English - Horrible. I didn't know any of the vocabulary at all... and I only found 8 points... I think I'm going to fail it. Guess tuition doesn't really help.

Chinese - Just had it today. It was a nightmare. I lost 9 marks just like that! I didn't even finish it! So mad at myself. And I can actually answer that question, if I had more time.

E. Math - I got it back! It was okay. I hate similar triangles. Confuse the heck out of me. I got A1. Tan Min got full marks! Expectable. Such a math genius. She's so clever. Always get so high for the important tests and exams.

A. Math - Alright as well. Not very hard, but the Sets is also confusing. The circular measure was a bit weird.

Geography - Very difficult! I'm going to fail it again! Oh no! The studying does not help.

Social Studies - The question is sorta in my assessment book. Hmm... dunno whether I can pass it. Hope so.

Physics - Not yet. Tomorrow. After that, I'm done. But I haven't even started studying.

Chemistry - I can't remember what happened.

Biology - It was extremely hard. So horribly difficult. Gonna fail it. For sure.

So... that's all. Shall stop now. Bye. Haha. I hate English.

My tuition teacher is going on a long holiday. I don't want another teacher. I wouldn't like her. No fair. I want her back.

NDP ROCKS!!!

Today is Singapore's birthday!!! National Day!!! Hooray!! NDP rocks! Haha...

Okay... calm down.

I just watched the NDP on Tv. It was extremely nice. The fireworks were so spetacular, and the best part was my school!!! They really did very excellent!!! It was all co-ordinated! But I didn't see the message... hmm... weird. But overall, they did great!!! It was so cool and amazing!

Happy birthday, Singapore!!!

Let's see... what did I do today?

Well, because the Sentosa trip was cancelled, I got to watch Trick, which I was so looking forward to. The introduction was really cool... it's like a ghost story, but it's actually a mystery story. A lot of dying.

Yup... it starts at 11:50am, and there I was sitting on the bed, watching it, with no one to bother me... Haha... the storyline was so unpredictable. It was about a famous fortune-teller who went on a show, and there were some professors who did not believe in her. So she did fortune-telling on a person, and then said that the person will die of cardiac arrest (that's what the subtitles said) before the show ended. So while they're waiting for the show to end, I was really kinda scared... it's like a ghost story... he can die immediately and it's quite scary...

And then the appearance of the main character, Yamada Naoko calmed me down. She's so cute and funny... now she's a magician who continued getting fired, and kept getting laughed. Well then, she saw the Tv show...

And before the show ended, just seconds left, the person died. It was so horrible.

And then after that, the main characters, a professor called Ueda, and Naoko went to the fortune-teller's place to investigate her, because they thought that she was behind the murder. And yeah, lots of things happened, and the fortune-teller wrote the time and how every professor will die in 4 different envelopes. And truth enough, every professor died exactly like what it was written. (Except for Ueda, of course.)

Yeah... and blah blah... lots of things happened, and of course, Naoko was there to solve the whole crime.

The thing about Trick is that, it's really touching, and you sometimes feel pity for the murderers. At the end, the fortune-teller (who really is the murderer) commited suicide... and then later they found lots of letters from different people thanking the fortune-teller because she's changed their lives and all that. It's really touching... that scene.

Trick rocks. The story rocks. The music rocks. The characters also rock, even the murderers. (I still prefer the Tokyo University Graduate to the bull-like person. They're the police, by the way.)

Oh well... enough talk, better go now... bye! Anyone has the Trick vcds? Haha...

Thursday

Thursday was quite a good day... an eventful day, actually. Lots of things happened. The Chinese teacher told us a lot of jokes, which was really funny. And then during choir, I told them to Say Hwee, but she didn't understand it at all. ....dots. I was so disappointed. Oh well.

Then during choir, a lot of people came. There were two new instructors, of which one of them is going to replace Mr. Lai when he leaves. (*sobs*) The German guy came too. His name is Dr. Manhart. Anyways, the two instructors took turns teaching us. The first was a female, who's quite okay. Her voice was really beautiful, and it sounded like the Disney's princesses. So nice. The second instructor was kinda weird. He's all hilarious, and strange... but he's quite okay to me, I guess, even if others didn't like him. I just like funny people. Haha.

Then after all that, we realized that we have to sing for National Day. Two songs. This is My Home, and Home. So we sang, and then Dr. Manhart sang the chorus of Home in German, which made us all laugh really hard. It was so funny, when it was translated into German!

Now... Friday. There's nothing much to talk about except that there's tuition. And something always happens during tuition. I reached United Square really early, at exactly 3pm. So I went to MacDonalds and bought a drink and then sat there doing my own stuff. And then, after that Canaan came and then sat with me... and waited for Valerie. So we both sat there doing homework. Then after that we went up to Toys R' Us, where he played with all the baby toys. ...he's childish. Haha... We saw a lot of Winnie the Pooh toys where they move when we press the hand or the foot or so. It was really cute. Haha! Then Valerie came, and well, we walked for a while... Canaan and Valerie had some fights using toy swords... and after that we went up. It was really fun hanging around with them.

During tuition, we had to debate, but overall it was fun. I like my tuition teacher. She's really nice. She's quite funny too. Hehe. Then when it was around 5 minutes to 7pm, when we're supposed to be doing homework, I guess, no one was doing it (since we couldn't possibly finish it), so our teacher just chatted with us. It's really fun. *nods*

Saturday. Dad's birthday. Happy Birthday. We have a lot of guests at our house. I played with Wanwan, and she lent me her Pirates of the Carribean vcd. She wanted me to watch it right then. Well, I wanted to show her O2Jam before that, so we played that first. I thought she was quite bored with it. So after that, we went to watch her vcd. It was nice, yes, I admit. It's really nice. Funny. And the music rocks. It's such a cool music! I like it a lot. Well, so after finishing with it, I still wanted to borrow it, so I can watch it again. Haha... hoping I can watch the 2nd movie someday. Maybe next week.

After that, we went to play Neopets. But then we got a bit bored with it, because we ran out of games to play. So... we didn't know what to do. Then Wanwan wanted to play with O2Jam again! I was so delighted! Haha... so we played again... Now I'm at Level 8. It's so true that once someone plays O2Jam, that person will get addicted to it.

O2Jam rocks! As long as there're easy songs to play.

Math Genius.

Sigh. I got back my Math test. Should be the last time that I'll get such a good grade. During the Common test, Tan Min will surely get better marks than me... Probably top the class again. You know, when the teacher gave out the Math homework, and Tan Min and I both finished it, after that a lot of people came to ask Tan Min for help in the Math homework. I counted 5! Or was it 6? And all of them were geniuses in various subjects. Wow. Tan Min is a great Math genius. Yes. So pro. Also top of the class for mid-year exam.

Just like Melina. (Who tops the class for every single subject, probably.)

Okay... Tan Min told me who Xiu Ying is... hmm... still dunno whether I should go talk to her. Maybe next time.

Friday shall be a good day. Must remind myself to bring enough money. Yay! I just hope that there won't be any oral stuff on that day. Then I wouldn't be happy anymore. Haha.

Oh yeah, I have begun to dislike English. Not the subject, but the teacher. It's because of the teacher that I've started to detest English class. I just don't really like her personality, I guess. She sounds really sweet, I know, but kinda fake. And she's a bit weird. Also, she kept asking people to repeat what they say if the others didn't hear it. If she heard it, why doesn't she repeat it herself? Some people just have soft voices, you know... It's not nice to force people. Yeah. So I shall not like English at all. Thus, Thursday is a better day than the rest.

Haiz... there's a Math test on Monday. Marcus's birthday. Hmm. Weird.

Oh yeah, badminton is fun, although I'm not improving at all.

See you.

German Guy and Tuition

I finally got to see the German guy in Choir... he was hired to teach us in the Choir workshop, I think... and the workshop started in the June holidays, but since I wasn't around, I couldn't get to meet him. And I never got to see him at all. I thought it would be a waste if I don't see him at all... must see how he looks like and how he teaches. And yes, I saw him yesterday.

And my first impression when he came in was...

Weird.

Well, Dawn said he was weird, and he really looked weird!

Well, he has less hair then I expected. I'm probably starting to form a stereotype that all Eurasian-looking guys have lots of hair. Probably influenced by all those actors.

Anyways, he has this weird accent. (But understandable) Oh my gosh, and he's a Soprano 1. Yes. He can sing extremely high. Oookay. He's okay, I guess, just weird.

Okay, that's all for him.

Today... tuition was the only fun and good thing that happened today, surprisingly. There's a Geography test, and Biology SPA today, and the Chinese teacher today was a bit... strange. Tuition was normal. Wow. Canaan (gosh... I think I forgot how to spell his name again. Sorry.) wasn't in tuition today, and luckily Valerie was here. ^^ She's a nice and friendly girl. Very outgoing too.

Anyways, Valerie and I were like, the only ones waiting there, and it was nearly five. And we kept hoping that we're not the only ones that's going to attend tuition. Xiu Ying (or however she spells her name) came as well. I realized she's actually from Nan Hua as well! But I didn't really talk to her... dunno whether I should. But I wanna know what class she's from. It'd be nice to have a friend from the same school who attends the same tuition class as you.

Anyways, we went in... Gracia came as well. There were only 4 people, and Valerie and I kept on whispering to each other. It was so quiet inside. We thought the rest are not going to come, but it turned out that a few minutes past 5, 3 more people came. Then after that, 2 more people from other classes came as well! And now... it's overcrowding with people. How funny.

Well, we did a comprehension. My tuition teacher was nice. I like her. She's strict and funny. Hehe. Well, she's not really strict. She's experienced. ^^ Tuition can sometimes be nice, but sometimes I just really dislike it. Oh well, but in general, tuition is unlikeable.

Oh! Fateful Day.

I'm back to blogging again! Okay. Haha.

Today is a really fateful day. I saw a lot of friends, be it old friends, new friends, current friends... etc. Haha.

Firstly, when school was dismissed, I was going off when I saw Ivy. Waved hi and bye to her. Then when I was out, I walked and walked and walked... when I reached the bus-stop, I saw Qi Hui! Long time no see! ^_^ She's a nice girl. ^^ *nods* So we talked. Then I saw Say Hwee's friend. Oh yeah, before that, I saw Dawn (from Choir) and her friend as well. Then they went up into the 96 bus. After that, while waiting for the 106 bus, I saw Ivy again! Said Hi to her again. When 106 came, Qi Hui and I talked... about a lot of stuff. ^^ Realized we both have a blog and msn and play Sims 2. Hehe. After that, I had to go to Westmall to return Tan Min's book. While I was on the escalator, I saw Su Yu (I wonder if I got her name correctly. It's a been a long time since I saw her.) and her friend. She didn't see me. After that, I decided to go to Comics Connection to check some new comics out. On my way, I spotted Dawn (from Choir) again! She said hi to me... ^^ After that, when there weren't any new stuff out, Dawn and I walked back to the bus interchange. I boarded my bus, and on the bus... I saw Yu Loon! (my Primary school friend.^^) Said hi to her as well.

And now... I am home. So in total, today after school, I had met 7 people! Wow! What an extremely fateful day...

Sigh. Today is the only day which I can relax. From tomorrow onwards, I'll be extremely busy! Let me list down all the important stuff that will happen this week.

Tuesday: Choir practice with Mr. Lai.
Wednesday: Social Studies Source-based test. Math tuition with Dawn. Must remember to get umbrella back from her.
Thursday: Math test on Circles (which the teacher postponed it 4 times.), hope to score well. Choir practice with Mr. Manhart (or whatever his name is.)
Friday: Geography test on Market Gardening, Hi-Tech Farming. English test on Proposal Writing. Biology SPA (will be assessed. Dunno whether it's the real one.). English tuition at United Square. Hopefully no oral presentations.

Busy, busy week!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eternalsnow-falls.blogspot.com/2006/07/oh-fateful-day.html' title='Oh! Haha.

I shall be very busy next week. I guess the only day that I'm free is Monday.

Tuesday: Choir practice. Until 5pm, I think.
Wednesday: Tuition with Dawn. Math.
Thursday: Choir practice. Most probably later than 5pm.
Friday: Tuition, but probably unable to attend because of the International Summer Camp performance.

And then Saturday and Sunday... are weekends... more free, but more homework to do. So sad.

Anyways, that's about it.

Nothing much to blog about, actually.

I can't really remember what happened this week.

Hmm. P.E. was fun for once in a lifetime. We played badminton. I hope we can play tennis next time. But the chances of that is very low. Sigh.

What else? I'll blog next time. Ja.

Must really find some time to load that O2Jam song someday. I'm getting bored with playing the same songs there... and getting the same score no matter how many times I try: F.

Sigh. From China. Yeah...

Sorry I didn't post at all... the internet connections there were super slow, and they charged at $0.25 per minute, so I couldn't use very long... Also, I cannot access my blog at all. Maybe it's too big or something... I couldn't access anybody's blog... funny.

And yeah, I was hoping, like what Dawn was hoping, to meet Dawn in China someday and go shopping or something together... Sadly, there wasn't any form of communication. Too bad... :(

In China, there's nothing much to do... other than watch Tv. I went to the Temple of Heaven. It was gigantic! And majestic! So cool! But it rained before I left... My mum and I kept on running for shelter. I thought I saw a structure used for hanging people or whatever... but it's actually used to put up lanterns. Oookay... -_-lll

Usually, my mum and I stayed up until 12am... there's usually nice shows to watch... like Tian Long Ba Bu, or this Korean show called Buo Li Xie (I don't usually like Korean shows because they're really slow... but this show looks quite interesting because it's about two little girls...). Once I even stayed up to watch the World Cup! Haha... it's only the match with Japan in it... Sadly Japan lost to Australia... I was so mad when they actually got in 3 goals!!! Gosh... (First time watching World Cup as well... kept on screaming, or rather squealing, when they're near the goalpost...)

Hmm... what else... Not much. I went boat-rowing as well... Should be called boat-pedelling though. My relatives and I kept on looking around for anyone who actually rows a boat, because it'd be really romantic if anyone did it, especially when it's a couple. And then when we're going to go back, we finally saw one! But it turned out to be two men! I was like... what?! *sigh*

Okay... enough of that... I guess I'm done now. Bye.

Flying...

Hmm... I'm actually in a mood to blog. That's weird. Well, I'm bored. Today is Packing Day, and I have to prepare for my trip tomorrow.

I'm going to China tomorrow, if you don't know.

Also, today is actually Dawn's birthday, just to let you know. Happy Birthday to her!!!

And after that, on June 6th, it's Charmaine's birthday! Happy birthday to her as well!

Okay, enough of that.

I wonder what I can do in China. There's nothing much to see anymore... Hopefully, for this trip, I won't just laze around and actually is dilligent enough to finish my homework. Haha...

What else?

Oh, I watched 4 movies this term. A great record, you know. But it's bad for the eyes. Very bad. First, I've watched Aquamarine, a looked-very-old-but became-better-later movie. It's all about mermaids. It's quite good, quite touching, but the ending was... nothing much.

Second, I've watched The Da Vinci Code. Too serious and dark, as I kept on emphasizing about it. Very disappointing as they cut a lot of parts from the book, but that's not the right way to judge a movie. We should not think about the book.

Third, I've watched X-Men 3: The Last Stand. It was really violent, bloody, and should really be rated NC-16. Haha. Yeah. And the whole thing was (okay, not too dark, luckily) quite exciting. Very adventure-packed, and easy to understand. (I didn't watch the previous 2 movies, you know, so I dunno what was happening) But still, I prefer the cartoon. Jean looked prettier in the cartoon, and Wolverine wasn't too much of a loner too. I like Storm in the movie, and Rogue looks prettier than Jean, surprisingly. Still do not like Scott, both in the cartoon and movie. My favorite character's still ShadowCat. I like NightCrawler too, but he wasn't in the movie, unfortunately. What happened to him? He was in the second one. Did he die? Hope not.

Anyways, the whole movie revolves around Jean and Wolverine, to my disappointment. I don't like them two together. Well, luckily, Jean gets killed in the end. The professor died in the middle. So sad. I thought he'd be strong enough. And the last part was confusing. How can that Magneto guy move the chess piece suddenly? You mean, now he can move plastic? Hmm... weird. The angel guy and the little boy didn't do much. And that Spike guy was so freaky. Never knew there were Iceman and Fire guy in X-men.

And yeah, lastly, I watched Over the Hedge. It was funny, but it made me kinda angry during the movie. I'm so mad at that RJ's greediness about just potato chips. I kept on sighing when he was eyeing over that thing. Stupid racoon (sp?). (Racoons are supposed to be cute, you know) The turtle was nice. I like the part about the Skunk and the cat. Haha.... Hilarious. I just don't like RJ. Stupid guy.

And yeah, that's all. Sigh... I'm so tempted to put some pictures in my profile now seeing that some people are doing it. Could put my favorite singers there... >///<

Haha... see ya!

PTC and celebrations.

Okay, let's talk about PTC.

I had PTC on Friday. (PTC is Parent-teacher Conference, by the way) Kinda scary. My mum kept wanting to tell Mrs. Lew how to teach them Geography correctly, since I've never really passed Geography before. My mum kept on thinking that Mrs. Lew didn't teach us well enough. Gosh. I told her not to be too rude. Haha.

And in the end, what was my mum's impression about Mrs. Lew?

Bad.

Haha.

Oh yeah, there was this time where my Chinese teacher came. First she went to my mum. She shook her hand and introduced herself. Then she looked at me and said to my mum, "Zhuqing is good." And then she went away to the other parents. (I swore she said more stuff than that to other parents about their kids!!!) Gosh. There's really nothing to be said about me, is there? So weird.

And then before the conference, we got our report slip first. I saw that I was 2nd in class, no, not 21st as my mum had guessed. It was unbelievable. So unbelievable I thought it was a typo mistake. Maybe they forgot to put a 0 at the end. (Tan Min got 1st in class, you know. And our marks were a BIG difference.)

Well, after that, my mum and I went to celebrate. We went to Orchard Road. (There's not many places to go to in Singapore, you know.) First, we went to Swensens to eat. I really wanted to try out what Baked Rice tasted like (since Dionne really liked the Pizza Hut one), so I ordered Chicken Baked Rice. In the end, it tasted like... Chicken Porridge. It's exactly the same! Really, Swensens' food are not very nice. I've tried twice now. It's all... average. Though the ice-cream is quite good. (Ben and Jerry's is still the best.)

After that, we went to HMV and all the other shops. My mum bought Jimmy Lin (my favorite singer)'s album for me as a nice present. ^_^ Was so happy.... probably something to cheer me up. (Because I still have tuition after that)

After that, we went to Kinokuniya. Bought a comic book. There wasn't any other nice comics to buy! I have all the new ones of my collection! There's nothing to buy at all... how I wish I can read Japanese... they have so many new books!!! Oh well, bought the Ouran Host Club comic volume 2, which I actually swore not to read it ever because I thought it was gay, but actually it's not. So... phew.

After that, it was tuition, to my absolute reluctance. Met Valarie (who was reading DeathNote 1.) and that boy (I dunno how to spell his name!!! >_<). Oh yeah... they two are usually the group I stick with in tuition. Haha... Also, there's this really nice girl called Rachel. Well, everyone in the tuition are really nice. ^_^

I can't believe we had to speak in front of the whole class again... another argumentative essay. So... scared. On my last day of school!!! I was so nervous, but then it's not really all that scary anymore, since I knew all the people there. I just wanted to get it over with quickly. The others were so good in speaking!!! Mine was total rubbish.

Oh well. And that ends the day. There's nothing else to write. Haha. Bye.

Not in the Mood

For some reason, I don't seem to be in the mood for blogging. Weird. I'll just cut everything short. Here are what happened these few days:

1. I failed my dreaded NAPFA test, and dreaded the re-test.
2. My mid-year results weren't very good, no hope on the Tamagotchi, I guess.
3. I can attend all of the remedial lessons, but I can't attend one of the compulsory Choir practices, unfortunately.
4. I'm going to China in June... again.
5. I'm not in the mood of studying these few days... at all.
6. Oral is really scary, especially the conversation part of the Chinese one. I'm sure I've failed.
7. I watched the Da Vinci Code, but it wasn't very well-done. Not what I expected. Too serious and dark.
8. Met XX and her friend Geraldine (not the Superstar one, as Say Hwee had thought). Both are from Nan Yang (okay, now they're in JC) and both spoke extremely fluent English with strong American accent. Was so envious of them.
9. Met neighbour's mother. She seemed happier now. Wanted me to go play with her daughter someday. Will do that. Hope to talk to them again. ^^
10. Lots of vcds to watch in holidays... including one which I've borrowed since last November. ^^lll
11. Hopefully a certain someone would lend me his FFX-2. Someday.
12. PTC on Friday. Scary day. Still have tuition. Haven't finished homework.
13. Really should put music on this blog soon.

And yeah, basically, that's what happened these few days. See you.

Changed.

Yup. Blogskin changed... I tried an anime skin this time... haha... hope you like it.

Changing blogskins sure takes a long time... it's quite hard... so I just copied and pasted all the stuff I wrote on the previous blog... haha... made some minor changes.

Hmm... what else.

I'll work on the song when I have time... maybe on Monday? Oh well.... Will be changing the blogskin soon. And the music too. Yup. Maybe after exams.

Okay, let's see... I've been having mid-years now. It's horrible. Extremely terrible. Petrifying. Yup.

English and Chinese Paper 1s are over. I know my Formal letter for Chinese will definitely fail. I missed out a point. And then the English informal letter was also very badly done, I think. I know I wrote something wrong. And "A Hair-raising Experience" was so hard to write. I wrote about a haunted house, and my essay wasn't really hair-raising. It was stupid.

English Paper 2 was quite... hmm... weird. But hard. It's all about little wives.

Biology was very very very really bad. I knew I was going to fail it. I don't think I know how to do any of them. Should really have studied more.

Hmm... Geography was scary too. I know I got a lot of them wrong. I can never get the gradient right, for some reason.

E.Math was horrible. I have a bad feeling about it. I didn't know how to do half of the sums on the paper. And I spent like around 45 minutes on the first page on the paper, and still there were lots of blanks. Okay, I didn't really study. (especially the co-ordinate geometry part which I never seem to get, and the sec 2 stuff)

Today I had Chinese Paper 2. Really short of time. I was rushing the whole way through. And there were so many comprehension passages! Four, I think. The first two comprehensions... I didn't know how to answer it at all! The last two was also quite hard. And I had only around 20 minutes for the Summary. And then after I still haven't finished the first two comprehensions. Well, so there were lots of blanks. Let's hope I don't fail. ><

Physics paper today was... uh... there's not much to talk about. Well, it was quite alright, I guess. (Compared to the rest) But then I'm still not very sure whether I can score well. There were a lot of "explanation" questions, and I can't score well in that part. Oh well.

Tomorrow there will be Chemistry and Social Studies, and then the following day will be A.Math. I hope the papers will not be hard.... hope so. Hope I can score well.

Yeah... basically that's it. I've got nothing else to say now. Haha... bye.

Sports Day

Today there's Sports Day. We're dismissed at 11am, and had to be at the stadium at 1:30pm, which means 2 and a half hours of free time. I didn't eat at all because I thought I was going to go to Macdonald's afterwards to eat my lunch. But then, in the end, we passed by Macdonald's and went away to the bowling place, because it was kinda crowded there. So sad... I didn't get to eat anything...

Then at the bowling place, all the others were trying to persuade me to bowl... Fine, they succeeded, but I really did not know a single thing about bowling. (The first time I bowled was around 5 or 6 or something... and I tried, and then the ball went into the ditch... and stopped halfway. The person had to go there to get the ball. In the end, I kept blaming myself for not having enough strength... (it was so troublesome for the person to have to go there to take it... I felt so apologetic back then) and never wanted to bowl again, because I didn't want the same incident to happen)

Well, so with the guidance from Dawn, Jun Hui, Tan Min, and Yuzhu (which was kinda incorrect, I think...), I managed to bowl... umm... while... not really. I still kept on getting zeros, until suddenly, I've got some Beginner's Luck (always believed in this... read "The Alchemist"), and then I got a Spare and a Strike! ^^ Was so happy... and felt extremely unbelievable. And then after that... there were more zeros... so there goes the Beginner's luck. Haha... But then, I was really quite happy... because it's my first time bowling (seriously) and I actually got 50 points (such a nice number!) and I'm not the last! (I won Dawn, surprisingly... haha...)

Then after that, Dionne came, and she played my second game. Dawn did better this time... she got second. So pro... Tan Min was really good at bowling. She got 127 points in her second game! Wow! Very strong!

Okay, now my back felt more sore than before... haha...

Then, after that... we went to the Sports Stadium. I finally get to eat! I bought Instant Noodles... which was really nice... but kinda warm on a hot day like that. Haha... After that, we mainly just sat around and slacked. It was really hot, so many people were fanning themselves with postcards, newspapers, files, etc... (including us) Then we saw Say Hwee and she said that both she and I were chosen for the Speech Day and had to memorize some songs... well, I didn't really feel that happy. (I'd be happier if it were SYF) You know, that meant another tuition gone, and another new replacement class (to my disappointment... because I quite liked my class... and hated all those terrible replacement classes).

Hmm... after that, we didn't do much. Then Tan Min and I realized that Ke Jun was just sitting there by himself, looking so pitiful (kidding), so we decided to go and talk to him and Say Hwee, who's sitting near him. Well, we talked, and Ke Jun seemed to be very interested in Choir, asking me about Sopranos and Altos, and how high we can go and how low the Sopranos can go, blah blah blah... haha... It was kinda awkward to sing there... and to him... >< Oh well. Haha...

And so after that Tan Min and co. went to the bars while I stayed on to talk to them... then Yuzhu came and spoke a bit and then she went off to buy ice-cream... she came back with a lot of them, and gave them to us... (surprisingly) Say Hwee was really surprised when Yuzhu gave her an ice-cream... she told me she's not that close to her so it's really surprising... haha...

Then Ke Jun went with us to the bars to play Pepsi Cola... and then later, we played Iceman (of course, with me not playing. I'm inactive... and still suffering from severe sores from yesterday's run. Okay, not too severe. But very sore.)

And yes, finally my most interested race came, the Teacher's Race. Say Hwee and I went to look at them run... We even went to the field... so bad... Oh well... then we saw Ms. Wong... she ran so fast! I think Mr. Phua was first... he was zooming so fast.... haha.

Okay, what else... nothing much. And so I went home with Sheryl and afterwards Dawn, then bought my dinner, and walked home. Haha... amazing that I still have energy to walk home.

Am off to watch Mermaid Melody now, as recommended by Jun Hui. But you know, if she continues to recommend me all these new animes to watch, I'll never be able to start with her Peacemaker. (But then, you know, the boy in the Mermaid Melody looked kinda kawaii... and I heard that his name's Kaito... (same name as my favorite character in Detective Conan... who's also kawaii) ... and the girl with the long yellow hair looked kinda like Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne... the anime... maybe they're from the same anime producer? Definitely not the same creator, but producer perhaps... or the same company..)

Haha.

I'm more and more obsessed with Prince of Tennis now. >< Haha...

Anyways, today, Say Hwee wasn't going to go for Choir because of CIP. As well as Melina and Pauline. There weren't many Sec 3s there. Then Ms. Ong came in to announce some news. She told us that Mr. Lai had diarrhoea and couldn't come. (Went to the toilet 5 times... o_Olll) And so we're dismissed. Which is half-good and half-bad. Oh well. Now we won't be able to know the results until next week. I don't think I'll get in. >_<

Today we had assembly. It was very nice. It was a performance on the Merchant of Venice. It's really cool and funny. The Merchant of Venice is one of my favorites of Shakespeare (sp?)'s works. It's a really ingenious comedy. Haha.

Youtube is loading faster and faster. So happy to know that.

Also today, I had to rush to do the Geography worksheet that is due today. I forgot to do it. Many others didn't do as well. Then Joshua wanted to copy mine. So bad. Haha... in the end, I let him copy. Oh well. He should really do it himself.

Hmm... we had a Comprehension test for English. It lasted one and a half hour. The story was quite nice. Interesting.

Tomorrow is Good Friday. I'm going with Tan Min and company to Discovery Centre... I think. I need to ask my parents first, and they have to check the time too. I got almost the same as Tan Min, except that the last part where hers say "privately passionate" or something... mine said, "It also safe to say that others don't see you as a flirt." Yeah. ...Hmm. I guess the analysis is half correct.

Haha. And that's that. So if you have any more personality tests, please tell me! Nothing much happened this week.

Hmm... Tuesday, the death day, passed by alrightly. Yeah, it was quite alright. The Physics SPA was horrible. (All SPAs are horrible) The auditions were... unexpected. I keep thinking that he's going to have us sing one by one in front of him... in the end, he made us sing in a small group or in pairs. I didn't even know that was the audition! Hopefully I get chosen. >_< (But I think I did horrible)

I haven't talked to Kyou-kun for a long time. Hopefully she can come to my house someday.

I had a dream on Tuesday. A nightmare, actually. Not too scary, but extremely freaky. It's about ghosts and all. It's creepy and freaky... and the venue where it happened in the dream was in my room. >_< So absolutely freaky.

See you... since I really have nothing to blog about.

P.S. Let’s see…

This Week

Yesterday, I had to go for the tuition's replacement class. It was at 7:30pm, and the next day I had to go to tuition again. Argh... I just hate replacement class. Why do all the events have to happen on Friday? Bad.

Sunday is going to be Joshua's birthday. Jun Hui, Tan Min and I got him a soft toy. Haha. Oh well, it was quite expensive.

Tomorrow is Xiao Xing's birthday. Tan Min and I gave her birthday wishes as her present. Haha.

Today, there's tuition. First, I was going up the escalator to the Learning Lab, but then I stopped when I saw Valerie talking to this guy. At first, I didn't really recognize the guy, but then he said "hi" to me, and then I realized that he's that guy from my tuition class. Can't spell his name. And so we just talked. I didn't really know what to talk about, because I'm not that outgoing like them. Haha... Later I met Rachel and we spoke about some stuff. Her CCA is guitar!!! So cool! But then, Choir is cool too. Hehe.

Today the lesson was about The Da Vinci Code. So nice! The teacher showed us some pictures of the paintings and all that. Very nice. Hmm... we had to do a summary on the passage about the popularity of the Da Vinci Code. It was quite fun talking about it... and below the passage there's actually two codes...

The hint was: Don't think out of the box, think in the box.

There were 16 letters... I actually got the method correctly, and was halfway to solving it... but I didn't have enough time, so in the end, the teacher displayed the answer before I finished it. Aww. So happy that I can still remember how to break codes.. haha. It's that Julius Caesar method. (I remembered the Digital Fortress) It was so fun.

You know, today I was watching Tv... the Wo Cai Wo Cai Wo Cai Cai Cai. It's really funny, and those who watched it knows that they always invite some singers or actors and stuff to judge and all. Well, I started watching halfway, and then I saw this group of guys... and I went "Oh My Gosh!" This band, I think, called Yuan Qi (as in, you know, Genki), was made up of 3 guys. 2 of the guys were dressing up like Naruto! One dressed like the younger one, while the other dressed like the one after 2 and 1/2 years. They even have the Konoha headband! So cool! I really want to hear what they were explaining about why they weared that. But they should have explained it at the front of the show, which I missed. So sad.

Next Week

It's going to be an extremely bad week. Especially on Tuesday. On Tuesday, there's definitely the Physics SPA where we'll all get accessed. Which is going to be really scary, because I can never ever do my experiments well, and I hate the teachers going around and all that.. and hate when they help you. (Because then you know that marks are going to be taken away)

Next Tuesday, Choir is having auditions for Speech Day. I've got to practice my singing. I've got 4 days. Please.... wish me luck!!! >_<><

Blogskins...

I'm deciding to change this skin, but it's hard because I can't find any nice ones besides anime ones... Even though Thursday was her birthday, and I skipped Choir, and Say Hwee went for the dentist, and many people were not attending so there was a very small group in Choir, and she was all alone and had to sing in even smaller groups, she said that it was quite alright and still enjoyed the day.

She enjoyed Choir. That's what she said in her blog. She enjoyed it. I can't believe it. I wish I could do that too.

So now, I shall force myself to attend Choir no matter how big the temptation is. I will. I have to enjoy Choir too, like what Dawn did.

I now really really admire Dawn. And now, I feel like giving her my Final Fantasy X vcds, which she really really wanted to borrow from me. (This is the first time I'm ever giving vcds to someone) ....However, if I give her them... it's like I'm giving her second-hand stuff... and she doesn't deserve them. So I think I'll buy her Final Fantasy X-2. (Which costs SO much.) >_<

Today, Mrs. Lew scolded us. Which I felt kind of guilty, but kind of amused too, when she wrote the rankings of my class on the board. Okay, it wasn't all that bad... at least it wasn't the last. (She should feel happy that we got 4th in Geography!) Oh well... I guess we did bully the trainee teacher for Physics, but I really don't care all that much, because I absolutely preferred Mrs. Chang. She can make me understand it more clearly, and the trainee teacher is just like a very very typical teacher.

Math was so boring today... I nearly fell asleep. Many people already fell asleep.

Well, now I hope we won't secretly change seats again... I really really want to sit in my original seat instead of that seat. Really.

Today was Teng Teng's birthday. Happy birthday to her!!! Hope she had a nice day... ^_^

I hate today's dental thingy... and on Monday there's Health Checkup. I seriously dread it.

Oh well. There's nothing much to say now. So I shall say... Goodbye. See you.

Camp... Camp... Camp.

Let's see. I haven't been able to touch the computer for a long long time. Well, here I am now. Well, last Friday, I had camp. I shall talk about it.

Day 1

I wasn't looking forward to it at all. The trainers look all so dark and scary, and there aren't many I know in my group. (Wee. I only know Hui Wen and Aswin.) Well, so my group was Group 1, and it's called Heart-break Kick or something. I dunno. Anyway, my trainer is Hab is she's quite serious, but she's nice too. Well, after much ice-breaking stuff, we finally boarded the bus and were off to Changi Coast.

The bus trip was so fast. We arrived there in such a short time. It seemed that my bunk was with Say Hwee and Dionne and Lynette. Turned out that Hui Wen forgot her plate and she had to borrow mine. Hmm... then we went to do the Flying Fox. I didn't really want to sit there at first, because it just looks too exciting and I hate heights. Absolutely HATE IT. Yes. I want nothing to do with it. So when I was assigned the pusher of the stairs, I was extremely happy and relieved. Lucky me.

Well, now I still think I'm quite lucky to not do that Flying Fox... Although trying it would be fun, I'm quite doubtful I'll be. So now I shall never like the Flying Fox. I don't want to commit suicide yet. (That's how it feels when you take the first step.)

Next we went to do all those games and played Captain's Ball. In the end, we challenged Group 2, and our team won 40-13. So co-operated. Our team is powerful because we have big guys like Kenny and agile ones like Aswin, Jian Rui (or whatever his name is) and Lynn.

Then afterwards, we went to do the Compass and all that, which was extremely boring. And then, we did Problem Solving, which was so fun because everyone was working together and trying to think of ways. And it's really funny to see as we were all squeezed together on one folded blanket. It's so sweaty.

And then, we pitched 4 tents and went to play Captain's Ball again. That was when I got really sick of that game. I'm so tired of it.

What else? Oh, I really really really hate the toilet. Well, the floor is gross-looking. (Everyone has to agree with that. And. I Am A Virgo.) And the shower was just TOO long. They shouldn't have public showers, and should have more cubicles for the private showers.

Oh yeah, we had Blind Man's Trail after that. Being not able to see made me extremely scared at first. I had to hold on to the person in front of me. I was so scared of losing her that I gripped as hard as I could on her shoulder. Hopefully I didn't hurt her too much. Haha.. I kept on imagining that there was some kind of slope in front of me, but there really wasn't. And I kept on thinking that we're going into the sea and all that. Silly me.

Nighttime. I got to sleep with Hui Wen and Say Hwee on my thin and small sleeping bag. Fell asleep immediately. So tired. 12 am. If I ever go beyond that time, and I'm still not sleeping, the next day I'll get a fever for sure. (Luckily I didn't)

Day 2

Ahhhhhh... the horror began that day. I kept telling myself that "there's just one day left. One day. Just this one day and everything'd be over." You know why? Because there're lots of High Elements activities we're doing that day. First, we went rafting. It was extremely hot and scorching. And we had to build that stupid raft while Group 1 could go out into the sea and jump into the ocean and do some swimming (testing of life jacket, actually). But they had to go shower after that. I didn't have to, luckily. Well, when we finally did get the raft done after a long long time, we carried it to the ocean to test it. And then we decided to flip it over, and so we tried to turn it... and then... BONG, the whole thing collapsed. Wee. All our efforts were gone. How sad.

And then more frights started. Next was the General Stations, which was alright. The Spider-Web was okay. I was the last person to get carried inside. Wow. The feeling of getting carried like a coffin. I've never experienced that before. -_-lll Then the Loop thingy. It's okay. Our trainer gave us very detailed instructions, so I didn't do it wrongly (though some of them did. Anqi almost hit the ground because she dragged her feet.). First, when I swung, my heart almost lept. I was wondering whether I'd end up falling or something. But then you'll have to trust your friends. Hab situated the big guys at the end to grab us when we swung. Lynn was thin and tall, and when she swung, it was so smooth it's like she's flying. Haha.

Then the Rock-Wall. Oh gosh. I hate it. I looked at it and I hated it. I still hate it now. Really. Rocks are stupid. And walls are stupid. And when you have to climb it, it's even more stupid. Luckily the trainer asked whether anybody didn't want to climb it. Well, I was the only one who didn't want to climb it, but that's alright. At least I didn't have to waste energy on it. Hui Wen was the first to get to the top. She's so good at it.

Now, there's the Rope Course. It's also very terrifying, but I figured that since I didn't try any of those high things (and I'm certain I wouldn't want to try the last one), so I guess I'll try one of it. Thus, I boosted up my courage and tried that Log walk. When I got to the top, it's really scary. I hesitated to step out the first step, but the trainer was nice and encouraged me a lot, so I finally stepped on to that so narrow-looking and round log. It's actually possible to walk on it! Wow! And then it was shaking so vigorously, but I still continue to walk because the trainer was telling me to do so. You know, I'm the kind who's like a robot. I can only do it if you give me step-by-step instructions. If you miss out even one small unimportant step, I'll be stuck forever.

So, I was up there, listening to the trainer's "Left, right, left, right" and stretching out my left foot and right foot. And finally I was able to go to the other side and get down. Well, it was a relief, and my teammate told me that it was fast. Thanks, Hui Wen for cheering for me. Well, next was Hui Wen's turn. She also hesitated before stepping the first step. I was sure she's scared like me. And then when she got down, she's crying a little. So I tried to calm her down. She recovered very quickly and proceeded to try the Partner walk with Hui Min. Woah. But they fell very quickly.

Next was Campfire. Hui Wen and I were very enthusiastic and continued singing Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Shaman King and other anime songs for a long time until the Campfire began. Well, our group didn't really plan, so we just did all the cheers we knew when we got up there. Hopefully it's not very messed up. I was really overhyperactive that day, if my friends could see it. I really liked the Campfire a lot. It's a lot of fun. Very cool.

Then after that, while we're waiting for the debrief, Hui Wen and I continued singing the songs. And Hab was really nice. She even brought curry puffs to us. But I didn't it because I can't eat hot stuff. Then after debrief, I decided to go sarcastic and so whatever Hui Wen said, I'd twist her words to an opposite or negative meaning. Like when she sang "the night was filled with stars" or something like that, I told her "there're no stars at all." And "a world of harmony" became "a really really really disastrous world". Haha.

In the end, we didn't shower. The queue's too long, and so I slept. Hui Wen slept at 11:45pm or so. Then when the lights were out, Say Hwee and I began talking to each other about a lot of things. Mostly I was doing the talking as she had a cough. So we talked about the camp, the campfire and then it went on to Digimon and evolutions (ahem), and then to Pokemon and blah blah blah. And then Say Hwee mistook someone's snoring as a gas tank. ^^lll And finally we went to sleep.

Day 3

Gosh, this is soooooooo long. Well, finally the third day has come. Not that I'm very happy or sad or anything. Hui Wen and I were still hyper, but in the morning we're all really tired as we didn't have much energy! Well, but then we went for station games and the first one was that our group had to form a really long line using the things we had with us. We used our shoelaces (unfortunately), socks, and even scotchtape (Mr. Thomas gave Aswin that before the game started). But then the paper flew away, so our chain was broken. They should have put the tissues at the back.

Then the other station games, it was alright with some cheatings and flattery and blah. And our group was the first to get seated. Haha.

And then we did some litter-picking and found some really gross stuff... and then the Prize Presentation. I don't like Ms. Yeo. She just made most of the people in Group 1 go and present the roses to the teachers. And she didn't have sound so annoyed. Stupid. Then after photo-taking, we got to eat the chocolate given to us as a prize. Then Hui Wen and I went hyper again, and we sang Powerpuff Girls to the others. The people around us were watching us with amused and weird looks. Haha. So funny.

And finally, I boarded the bus with my class. Everyone was all so hyper and started shouting and chatting a lot on the bus. We reached school in a short time, and I went home with my parents. And the first thing I reached home, what did I do? Shower! Haha... so sticky.

In conclusion. Camp was fun. The people and trainers were nice. I made so many new friends. See ya.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eternalsnow-falls.blogspot.com/2006/03/camp-camp-camp.html' title='Camp... Well, at first, my group consisted of Tan Min, Dawn, Yuzhu and I, but then Tan Min went to join Jun Hui and Amanda, leaving me with Dawn and Yuzhu... Ahhhh... so lonely. Haha. Anyways, I seem to be doing a lot of work.

First, when we got off the bus (and have to walk as we have no time because of that stupid security person in Bukit Timah hill), I had to walk to the bus-stop and tie some sign to the post there, while the rest waited behind. And then when we're about to climb that slope, Dawn and Yuzhu had to wait at the foot of the slope to guide those participants, while I was stuck with the two instructors and had to climb that horribly high slope.

And then... we waited. Until about 10:55am, our first team finally came. And so we let them do what they're supposed to do, and fill up forms and blah blah blah... and I was supposed to record the time they come and go... It's quite boring, but the two instructors were quite nice and funny, and the Chinese one looked a lot like Michael! Really! So there is some kind of familiarity in him to me.

Anyways, Dawn and Yuzhu kept on phoning the instructor, saying that they're tired and hungry (and wanted to go to Beauty World to eat MacDonalds') , and the instructor told them to endure for an hour... Then he sent a message to someone saying that "the girls were restless and hungry". And then after a long long time, we moved from sitting on the stairs to sitting on the bench below, and the food finally came. It was the same as the breakfast's food... probably the leftovers. So while we were there, trying to fend off the ants and flies, Tan Min and her group were happily enjoying the air-con and some yummy hamburgers.

But still, it was much much better than standing at the foot of the slope with nothing to do like Dawn and Yuzhu... at least I get to do something up there. It was quite an interesting experience.

Pops Out.

Whew. I haven't been blogging for a long long time. I didn't have much time this week to go online. So sorry.

Hmm. What happened this week?

Well, on Tuesday, during Choir, we had to sing at the backstage of the hall, while there were male dancers doing somersaults on the stage. And so we went and sang "Suriram". And then after we've finished singing it and Mr. Lai was commenting on it, we heard some voices (feminine-sounding) singing (or trying to imitate) "Suriram" in a very high note from the front. We immediately started laughing. Turns out that those naughty male dancers were trying to imitate (or make fun of) our singing.

So when we went back to the Choir room, Mr. Lai actually said that the dancers sounded much more feminine than us, and they should come and join our Soprano 1s! Haha...

Okay, what else happened?

There is something bugging me all week. It's Popcorn. You know what? I have a feeling she's getting old, although I don't really know her real age. (But then the young ones are all quite small) You know, she just refused to run, even though I've already cleaned the wheel and everything for her. And everytime I visits her, she's sleeping. And then when I change her food for her, she doesn't go and eat it anymore. But when I put some snacks there, she'll go and eat the snacks. And then when I put her out onto the floor to run around, she'll scramble immediately back into her home. -_-lll Okay, so either she's lazy now or just too tired. I don't know. I shall go consult the wise animal-lover. (You know who)

Hmmmm...

Tuition was scary yesterday. Really scary. Well, the good thing was that I met a new friend. Her name's Valerie. (I think) She somehow reminds me of Terri. She's a very nice girl who always has a very friendly smile. And she's very good at speaking and answering questions. (The rest of us are just quiet and silent...) And she gets along very well with our teacher. Today, another new boy joined our class. I'm not sure how to spell his name, but I think he's quite a polite boy. Yeah. (When I passed him the papers, he'll reply "Thank you".) Our class is really quiet, you know... haha. But that's good.

We watched "Friends" during tuition and had to answer some questions. It was really funny, with us continuously laughing non-stop during the show. Well, then we had to present something in front of the whole class. They went by register, so I was the first to present. It was really scary. Well, the teacher still said that it was a good try. But I think I did really badly. Then the teacher realised that she let us late. (We're supposed to be dismissed at 7pm, but we continued with the presentation until 7:20pm.) She quickly let us out, hoping none of our parents weren't have to wait at the side of the road for a long time. Yeah. That's what happened.

What else?

Well, the Sec 3 Adventure Camp is coming. I certainly hope it'd be a great camp, because I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm not looking forward to any of those things that had to do with height, like the rock-climbing and abseiling and flying fox (o_O) and some walking on air. The Kayaking... I hoped it'd be okay. (At least it sounded safe.) So yeah... hopefully I'll come back with a happy mood, safe and sound.

And also...

March Holidays is finally here! I'll be looking forward to it... (except the camp) although I'll have to go back on Monday and Wednesday. But still, I'm feeling quite excited. Yay, we're doing book reviews! Haha. Hopefully our choir exchange will turn out successful.

Rants, Special Thanks, and Multiple Names

Okay, this is going to be an extremely looooooooong entry. So. Bear with it.

First, let me talk about Malay on Thursday. No one in our class was co-operating to rehearse for the Malay performance due that day. So Juang Shiow (is that how to spell her name?) and Elaine got all upset and knew that we were all going to get embarrassed on stage. And so, we went to the auditorium and on to the stage. I was hoping at that time that 3/6 would be as bad as us (as Say Hwee told me that her class didn't have any ideas or rehearsal too).

Therefore, we went all awkward in front of the audience, and the whole performance was chaotic and ruined. And out of generosity and kindness, the audience actually applauded, amazingly. Well, so we went back to our seats to see the other performances. Finally 3/6 was up! I was so anticipating it... hoping they would be just like us.

I was sooooooo wrong. I had forgotten 3/6 had two wonderfully fluent in Malay students: Daniel and Melina. And so their performance began with only Daniel and Melina doing the speaking, with Melina speaking in such a fluent and fast tone which awed every single one of us offstage. I can't believe it. And so 3/6 obviously did better than us, with 6 of the students doing the acting and speaking, while the rest of the class either sat there or hid behind the curtains. How sad.

Okay... now I shall tell you the results of my tests. It's really disappointing and dissatisfying. Apparently I got a A1, 3 A2s, 1 B4, 2 C5s and 1 F9 (hate this). And there's still Social Studies. Of course that will add to the F9.

I was so upset. I was like the worse among my friends. &_& So sad. I will work hard next time!!!

Okay... the rants are done. I just realized that I know some people with the same name. You know, I already know 3 different Elaines. (1 in another school, 2 from Nan Hua, in which 1 of them is from Choir) And I know 2 Serenes. (1 is my Form teacher, the other from Choir) And 2 Valaries. (Though I think the names are spelt differently. But the pronunciation still stays the same. 1 from another school, the other from tuition) 2 Shannons (1 from tuition, 1 is Tan Min's cousin :P). Hmm... who else? Oh! 2 Dawns too. (Both from Nan Hua, 1 in Choir, 1 from my class)

Think that's all. Haha... I'm basically writing useless stuff out. I'm bored. That's all. And now comes the Special Thanks.

I really want to thank Kyou-kun aka. Elaine for being such a great friend. As I mentioned in my previous post, I was extremely upset. And thus, I went to paint to draw some stupid anime pictures. Then I went on to msn to post those stupid pictures. I was sure they looked extremely stupid, and doesn't look like the original at all. And then Kyou-kun saw it and commented that they're really cute! I was so surprised! And then she went on asking me whether I could send her one of the pictures! I was extremely shocked... and so grateful, as she had cheered me up in that instant. (You know, when I draw pictures, not many have asked me to give them one of it!) I didn't know it was all that cute... so I'm really grateful to her. Thank you!!!

Kyou-kun is an extremely nice girl. Haiz. *nods* Arigatou, Kyou-kun! May we be great friends forever and ever!! ^_^

I hate this.

Boo. Common Tests are over. Tuition is over. (For the week) And this week is over. How nice.

Yeah right. That's not very nice. I'm relieved, but not happy. Yet.

The results. These are horrifying. I'm so sure I'm going to fail every single subject. I already know my Chinese marks. (Of course, the teacher assured that she'll add some marks for me... then I'll be able to pass. At the passing mark. How disappointing.)

Social Studies. I've already stated what went wrong. Biology. Extremely scary. It's absolutely difficult. I shall not talk about it... as I've already forgotten most of the questions. Physics. I hate graph-plotting. I really hate it. A lot. At the paper contains a question which requires graph-plotting. And now, you can imagine how much time I took to finish that question. Without an eraser. (Or rather, with an eraser that turns the paper blacker when I tried to use to erase something)

English. The truth was out. The teacher said that the highest is 18 or 19/30. And obviously, that would not be me. Chemistry. I told you what's sad about it. Geography. I'm either going to fail or pass with a very low grade. And of course, there's the worst of all. Math. E Math and A Math. E-Math, I've totally forgotten every single question that was tested. Oh well. A Math was horrible. HORRIBLE, I tell you.

When I got the paper, my whole mind went blank. Then it wandered off to some other subject. And then I couldn't think at all. It's definitely got to do with that stupid suffocating tie. You know, I was sweating!! (And I've always complained that my seat was freezing me.) And you know, when I'm sweating, and in such a bad suffocated condition, my brain of course doesn't work well. And so... I TRIED to do the paper. I really did try. And of course, the trying didn't work very well... Logarithms. Something I loved became something I couldn't do. Really couldn't believe it. (I went home to get my mum to try it. The 5-mark question. She took about 20 minutes to solve it, I think. I'm sure I took longer than that.)

Hmm... what else? I'm going to talk about tuition now. My teacher actually told me that she's the fiercest teacher of all the teachers in the tuition center! Wahhh... I'm not so sure. (Though all the teachers I had before are definitely friendlier than her!) Well, she's not that fierce... she just look... very unfriendly. I mean, when you talk to her, she doesn't smile at all. (Well, she doesn't frown too... not like our Geography teacher.) She looks kind of grumpy. Well, I don't really mind her that much. I guess she doesn't scold us or anything, and once in a while, she'll smile. Plus, I learnt a lot from her. You don't really feel that embarrassed when you got an answer wrong in her class.

So... now I don't really mind tuition much, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take it off from my "Detests" list. It's still at the top, and will remain there forever. Haha... (Do you know how long it took me to like the Science tuition last year? Only when it's towards the last few lessons... or the last few months of the year.)

Whew. I wrote too much, didn't I? You know, I really have this tendency to blabber on and on non-stop. How scary. I just can't stop myself.

Can't Think.

Common tests are still here. I hope it's over. Who doesn't?

I'm not really in the mood to study today. Even though tomorrow it's Biology. The hardest, most difficult, not very interesting, long subject for me. But I still don't feel like studying.

I saw Say Hwee today. Finally. Haven't seen her for a long time. :P

Charmaine comments that my blog is too pink. I think so too. But I'm not changing it. I love the music. And the skin looks nice. Charmaine hates pink, by the way.

I'm in a writing mood. I feel like writing fanfics. This reminds me of something that happened long time ago.

You know what fanfiction is, right? It's stories, or fiction written by a fan of a particular book or Tv show related to that show or book.

Well, a long time ago, when I was in Primary 5, I asked one of my classmates what 'fanfiction' meant. And this is what she told me:

"I think that maybe when the fan moves, it produces friction against the cover... so maybe that's what it means."

Something like that. I guess my friend misheard it as "fan friction". Is there such a thing? Don't think so.

Hmm... what else? Not in the mood. Common Test. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. I still dislike the Geography teacher. Even now.

Better go now. I should be studying now. I really should.

Getting Used.

Haha... I'm getting used to this blog now. Looking at a new skin makes me feel so weird. Also, I rarely choose this sort of skins. But oh well. I'm not going to care. I like the music. The music is back up! It's nice, isn't it?

Today is Tuesday. There're common tests today. It's really horrible. Chemistry and Social Studies. The Chemistry MCQ was alright. To me it was quite easy, because most of the questions came from the O-level Ten-year Series, and I did all the questions in the chapter. (It's a great assessment book. Got it from a Raffles boy, I think. Can't remember.) But the horrible part is the Section B. There were so many hard questions, and it was mostly on the Purification and such. I was hoping there'd be more questions on Chemical Equations. It'd be much much better.

Social Studies common test was boring and confusing like the subject itself. Sigh. My answer was completely the opposite of the correct answer! At first I was thinking whether to put that answer (which was actually the correct one), but then I thought for a while, and put a totally opposite answer. So what's the lesson learnt here?: When doing Social Studies, never think twice before you act.

Today I forgot to bring a lot of stuff. Poor me. And I really dislike the Geography teacher, which unfortunately is our form teacher. She's super serious. She doesn't smile at all. Really. I've only seen her smile once or twice. Hopefully she'll smile more, and don't keep frowning. Also, she should be friendlier. (She sometimes reminds me of some answering machine.)

Hmm... what else? Turns out Kyou-kun's blog cannot be found. Hope she can fix it back. I like reading her blog. She has really nice music there... and the font is quite nice too. Haha... she's a nice person.

Also found out that my links page has the same format as Tan Min's. o_O So I changed the 209'05 and the 305'06 to Nan Hua High. Still looked quite alike. I've got a new blog. Diary-x is down. Plus, blogspot has so many skins! It's really hard to find a good one though. This skin is really nice, mainly because I like the music. :P It's nice! Love the music. Just realized there's a lot of pink in this skin. Never thought I'd ever get such a girlish skin. Oh well. Who cares. Haha. I like it. :P (Whoever have any comments please post at my tagboard.) I'll change skins if I feel like it.

Also, what kind of music do you want me to put on this blog? (If I ever got tired of this music) I only have Japanese songs and a few English and Chinese songs... and there's no way I'm using Iwebtunes (it does not work for me... virus.) So... tell me in my tagboard, do you want me to put music on this blog, or songs, or no music at all? (as in, instrumental, or with someone singing? Midi or mp3?)

The navigators... you can't really see what is what, can you? They don't show anything. Oh well.
